I've tried dungeon crawling mobile games before and I never played them longer than two weeks. It's success will come from young and foreign audiences who don't know what they are missing. Sad considering all Diablo up to this point has been iconically gory. The thing I dislike the most is the fact they are making this a "family friendly" version. I've found mobile games to have real exclusive audiences. Will it be any good as a mobile? Well successful at least. StarCraft will likely be next followed by Warcraft. Squaresoft did it with Final Fantasy and now there are what 4 or 5 knockoffs? This is just the beginning. They just chose Diablo first because it's an older IP that hasn't really gotten any steam in a while. I fully expected all their IP to be up on mobile before they said it in that phone call. ![]() Ever since they cut out the WoW development crew at release I've known them to be a greedy corporation, or at least run by one we all know. This move by Blizzard doesn't surprise me. ![]() ![]() Join the discussion on the /r/Blizzard Discord channel!
